The most important
thing a consultant should do is to give realistic advice.
We will tell you what we believe is possible, not what
we think you would like to hear. We will give you an
estimate, based on 40 years practical experience, of
what you can raise. We will tell you how you can do
it and the resources you will need.
You need someone who understands your particular and unique needs so that the fundraising approach is entirely appropriate for your organisation. Our
staff have wide experience of working with clients in all not-for-profit sectors
and for us your project is not just a contract, but a commitment based on a
real understanding of your needs.
Whilst we make full use of proven methodologies, we do not impose template solutions. Equally, we ensure that the proposed strategy is robust, flexible and appropriate.
Developing a strategy is important but is only half the battle. You want someone
who will also help you to get the job done. We provide the hands-on skills
where you need them, when you need them.
How do we actually work? Here are some
of the things we would expect to do in a typical campaign:
prepare a detailed strategy and action plan for the
work/campaign
help with the recruitment of campaign leadership
guide all stages of the fundraising effort from start
to finish with outline and detailed timetables
design and produce campaign literature, including
brochures and leaflets
train, equip and enable volunteer leadership
provide expert advice on tax matters
provide regular reports on progress and solutions
to strategic or practical problems.
The four members of
our Senior Management team, the Consultants we have trained
and deployed across the UK, combined with the specialist
services of the four members of our Head Office Support
Services provide strength in depth not found in one-person
operations.
Much of our work comes through referrals from satisfied clients. Do not take
our word for it - we encourage you to verify our track record.
