Craigmyle working with museums

Within this sector, some of the more challenging projects with which we have worked are a number of museums. With many causes there is a common expectation of government funding and this is particularly true for museums.

National Coal Mining Museum Phase 1 of the development plan included in vital conservation work, a new interpretation centre, upgraded visitor facilities and the construction of a new education wing. Phase 2 covers a rail link to Hope Pit and a new display of the social history of mining. Following Heritage Lottery Fund support the targets were set at £1.4 million for Phase 1 and £600,000 for Phase 2. Prince Philip opened the new Phase 1 buildings in July 2002 and funding for the completion of Phase 2 is well under way.
The Woodland Trust A variety of services during a long and productive working relationship.
The Zoological Society of London Provision of interim management for fundraising during a period of considerable change.
HMS Trincomalee In addition to providing strategic fundraising consultancy, Craigmyle were closely involved in the negotiations resulting in the eventual location of this historic vessel in the North East.
Cobham Park Heritage Project We developed a fundraising strategy and case statement for support as an essential component for the submission of a Heritage Lottery Fund application for partnership funding. The Project was successful in raising the funding needed.
Brooklands Museum Trust Limited 2007 will see the centenary of the birth of motor sport at Brooklands. We are assisting with a Centennial Appeal to raise nearly £14 million.
St Bride Foundation The Foundation occupies the St. Bride Institute, just off Fleet Street, and houses the National Print Library. We are assisting with both revenue and capital fundraising activity.
